As if the recent lovely weather wasn’t enough to lift the spirits it’s that time of year for THE WASP GUYS to start posting again.

A few sightings of Queen Wasps that have woken from hibernation have been reported, but we won’t see any real activity until the first eggs have hatched in about 4/5 weeks.

Wasp season is likely to start early this year.

Lots of calls for cluster flies:

Yes, the wonderful wasp guys team can help you get rid of these unwanted creatures.

First reports of honeybee swarms.

DO NOT have these killed.

If a swarm settles near you, it will generally move on within 48 hours.

You can phone the wasp guys for free advice.

We will also try and arrange for a professional beekeeper to come and re-home them.

Ground bees are also burrowing in soft soil.

These are relatively harmless and their sting doesn’t hurt us.

(Of course if you are anaphylactic be careful around all stinging insects).

We don’t kill ground bees.

They will move on within a few weeks of their own accord.
